RESEARCH INTERESTS:
My broad interest lies across Behavioural Ecology, Ethology and Animal Physiology. I am primarily interested in Avian ecology and ethology; hence I did two internships that focused on Bioacoustics of Shola Sky Island birds and their behaviour. My interest in this field has developed due to the plethora of songs and calls exhibited by birds. I am currently studying antiphonal calls and am keen to understand the role played by the sexes during them. Along with Kingdom Animalia, I find Kingdom Plantae and the microbe world intriguing too. I see a developing inclination towards biochemistry in me. PERSONAL AND OTHER INTERESTS:
Along with birding and spending time in nature, I love gardening. I am a plant hoarder. I also love cooking, watching anime and recently have developed an interest in digital illustration. I enjoy watching Sci-Fi and Rom-Com movies too. |
