I am Lakshmi Priya A Nair and I am a Post graduate in Biotechnology from Mar Athanasios College for Advanced Studies Tiruvalla, Kerala. I am a project student providing Scientific Administrative Assistance for the lab at IISER, Tirupati.
RESEARCH INTERESTS: I have a broad interest in ecology and evolutionary studies. I am interested in animal evolution and the evolutionary advantages that they experience. Also on how animals adapt to the sudden changes in their environment. I am also interested in the animal interaction among themselves and with other animals. I would also like to gain an insight on biomagnification in bird population and its aftereffects. At IISER I hope to learn new molecular biology techniques and also improve my scientific administration skills. Projects involved: Aviation Bird Strike PERSONAL AND OTHER INTERESTS: I am passionate about dancing and acting. I also engage in scientific communication and enjoy participating in similar discussions. I am also a huge fan of pop and country music.
