RESEARCH INTERESTS
I’m fascinated by how wildlife manages to survive and adapt in landscapes that are increasingly shaped by people. As a conservation biologist, I’m interested in understanding how species respond to these changes and what that means for conservation. Much of my work involves biodiversity assessments and ecological monitoring in human-dominated landscapes. Over the years, I’ve worked across different ecosystems studying birds, bats, and other wildlife, and I really enjoy field-based research that helps build a clearer picture of how ecological communities are changing. PERSONAL AND OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, skecthing, swimming and spending time watching birds and other wildlife. I’m usually happiest near water with a good book, or sitting somewhere quiet pretending to sketch while actually getting distracted by whatever bird or animal shows up nearby. |
