Basic Biodiversity
Our group has previously worked with various institutions and agencies to build capacities within their employees/students. We conduct bespoke workshops for nature appreciation, including field immersion, classroom sessions, and technology sessions to assist participants to use emerging technologies like AI and ML with collecting wildlife data. Our goal is to help build capacity among various stakeholders such that quality biodiversity data is generated from various parts of India.
In Andhra Pradesh alone, we have worked with over 6 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including IIT Tirupati and SPMVV.

From 2026, much of the nature education and awareness workshops will be conducted by our partner, Tirupati Nature Society.
The IISER team can provide advanced engagement, including combining these with genetics, acoustics, and LiDAR

Bioacoustics Tools and Technology Training
  • Introduction to bioacoustics tools, technologies, and their applications
  • Hands-on training in the use of acoustic monitoring equipment, including Automated Recording Units (ARUs), microphones, recorders, and associated accessories.
  • Fundamentals of wildlife sound recording, equipment deployment, data collection protocols, and acoustic data management.
