RESEARCH INTERESTS:
I am interested in working at the intersection of ecology, molecular biology, and environmental governance. My fascination for birds and interest in molecular lab techniques drew me to the Bird Lab at IISER Tirupati where I am currently invoved in decoding bird strike ecology using molecular tools like mitochondrial markers and PCR to identify species. I am drawn to forestry and conservation science, not just as academic subjects but as pathways that connect research to real policy decisions. I find joy and satisfaction in communicating science clearly and meaningfully, whether through outreach, structured writing, or long-form reflective work. I want my work to integrate strong scientific foundations with real-world relevance—bridging research, conservation practice, and institutional impact. PERSONAL AND OTHER INTERESTS:
I love gardening! When I am not working, I like growing plants, especially herbs and seasonal vegetables. I enjoy playing the Ukulele and learning different musical instruments like the Kalimba, Harmonium. Sometimes, I paint. Sometimes, I sing. And occasionally, I like to bake.
